Saudi Arabia: Ports and Exports Discuss National Product Support

Yanbu Commercial and Industrial Ports received a delegation from the Saudi Export Development Authority headed by the Secretary General of the Authority, Eng. Saleh Al-Salami, and the delegation accompanying him.
During the visit, they discussed ways to boost exports, invest the ports’ operational capacity and their geographic location in support of the national product. Such operational and geographic capabilities reduce the cost of the total transport of the product, thus giving the competitive advantage of the national product in the international market.
The delegation also briefed the delegation on the investment map of the ports and the progress they have made in developing them and enhancing their competitiveness in the region in support of the national economy and trade movement in the Kingdom.
The visit comes within the framework of strengthening the services of the Saudi ports and its important economic and commercial role in order to achieve the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, thus contributing to providing all necessary facilities for the beneficiaries.
