The UAE-Japan partnership is crowned by 24 agreements and memorandums of understanding

Bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between the UAE and Japan over the years 1990 to 2018. It reached 24 agreements and a memorandum. The Secretary General of the Emirates Council for Overseas Investors Jamal Al Jarwan affirmed the importance of the agreements that strengthen the UAE-Japan partnership.
Al-Jarwan pointed out that the non-oil trade figures between the UAE and Japan have witnessed a steady growth exceeding 58 billion dirhams at the end of 2017. He described it as translating the size of opportunities on both sides of the close relationship and ensuring its steady growth in a partnership that is respected by the leaders of the two countries, The UAE invested abroad and which sees the economy and the Japanese market as a trustworthy investment environment.
On the first day of its sixth session, the Abu Dhabi Economic Council (ADCED) witnessed the formation of four working groups in the energy, human resource and infrastructure development sectors, which Jarwan described as vital for UAE public and private sector companies served and sponsored by the Emirates Council of Investors the outside.
It is worth mentioning that there are ten thousand and 87 companies, agencies and Japanese trademarks registered in the Ministry of Economy, including 88 companies, 207 registered commercial agencies and 9792 Japanese registered trademarks.
