The Central Bank warns customers of telephone calls and phishing messages

The UAE Central Bank has warned customers to alert them to any telephone calls and text messages they claim to be from the central bank.
The bank urged customers not to disclose to the caller any information related to their bank accounts, telling customers about the importance of protecting information about their bank accounts and credit cards from fraud or unauthorized transactions.
The central bank confirmed its lack of contact with individuals or companies via telephone calls and text messages to inform them that their bank card has been suspended.
