Launch of the 6th session of the Arab-China Cooperation Conference on Energy in Cairo

The sixth session of the Conference on Arab-Chinese Cooperation in Energy, organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Energy under the slogan “One Way: One Belt: Promising Investment Opportunities”, was held in Cairo today, with the participation of senior officials in the Ministries of Electricity and Energy.
Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for Economic Affairs, Ambassador Kamal Hassan Ali, said in his speech during the opening session of the Arab-China Cooperation Conference on Energy, one of the most important activities of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum. Which is of interest to both sides.
He added that the demand for energy sources is increasing. He pointed out that the Arab countries rely almost entirely on the sources of oil and natural gas to meet their energy requirements, which constitute 99% of the total energy consumption in the Arab countries last year.
