The “Housing” program of the Ministry of Housing has continued to hand over free residential land to beneficiaries of the program who were allocated to them in the last monthly payments. During the month of April, 2057 plots of land distributed throughout the Kingdom were delivered.
The program said in a press statement today that the delivery of this month included 449 plots of land for eligible citizens in the area of Najran, in addition to 334 land in the area of Mecca, while 177 citizens received in the area of Medina free land, and in Riyadh has the total free residential land Of which 174 land was handed over.
In the eastern region, 159 plots of land were handed over, 153 in the northern border area, 134 in Hail and 134 in Jazan. The Ministry of Housing also delivered 126 residential plots in the Asir area and 121 land in the Al Baha area , And received 62 citizens in the Qassim area free land, and 29 in Jouf and 5 in Tabuk.
In his statement the official spokesman of the Ministry of Housing Saif bin Salem Al-Suwailem stressed the Ministry’s keenness to diversify the housing and financing options for citizens in accordance with their wishes, pointing out that the deliveries of land continue on a monthly basis in all cities and regions of the Kingdom.
He pointed out that the ministry is working on handing over free land in various governorates with an area ranging from 450 m2 to 527 per piece, noting that the program “residential” announced earlier this year for the allocation of 50 thousand plots of land free, exceeding the total number of land allocated to citizens since the start.
The program has 207 thousand free plots of land covering all areas and benefiting from various categories, according to the wishes of the beneficiaries entered in the support portal, where deliveries continue in different cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
He further said that the option of free land is one of the options offered by the” Residential “program to its beneficiaries, where the options were diversified to meet the needs of all citizens registered in the programs of housing support, pointing out that these options also include getting a villa ready within the projects of the ministry,
A housing unit under construction in the Ministry’s projects in partnership with the private sector, in addition to obtaining subsidized mortgage to buy a ready-made housing unit from the market, or to self-build land owners, and to transfer existing financing to subsidized beneficiaries during their waiting period.
It is worth mentioning that the residential portal of “Housing” has previously made it possible to choose the appropriate residential plan by the beneficiaries of the free land according to their wishes and needs, as part of the constant endeavor to develop electronic solutions to facilitate the citizens and provide more e-services to them.
