The Bank of England’s monetary policy committee voted unanimously to keep the official interest rate unchanged at 0.75 percent.
The bank said in an official statement today that it expected the country’s growth rate to slow to 0.2 percent instead of the previous estimate of 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter of this year.
The bank also expects growth rates to fall next year as the global economic performance and uncertainty over BRICZET decline.
