Italian industrial production fell in March

Italian industrial production fell by 0.9% in March, but rose by 1% in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the fourth quarter of 2018.
The Italian National Statistical Institute (EST) said in a statement that the rise was the first since the fourth quarter of 2017. At the same time, Italy’s industrial output fell by 1.4% compared to March of 2018.
