Dubai Customs has launched its first Ramadan initiative, Sawaed Al Farda, through which 20,000 breakfasts will be distributed during the holy month of Ramadan to the drivers of the vehicles in front of the Asean of Morocco with 5,000 meals every Saturday near the intersection of traffic signs between Sheikh Rashid and Port. This initiative promotes the concept of charity and good and instilling it in society in all its categories.
The event was part of the Ramadan campaign for the Ghayath Volunteer Team and the Community Responsibility Section at Dubai Customs. The event was attended by the Director General of Dubai Customs, Philip Frin, the US Consul in Dubai and about 200 volunteers from the Giyath team with their children, officers and members of the Port Police Station and the Children’s Group.
The campaign aims to strengthen and deepen the human relations between the members of the society and promote the concept of charity and good, and this was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “the good of God” in supporting the initiatives of good, and encourage members of the community to participate and raise awareness of the importance of charitable work and community .
He stressed the keenness of Dubai Customs, in coordination with the holy month of Ramadan, to organize many charitable initiatives and put them within their strategic plans in the social responsibility to contribute to the realization of the principle of solidarity and solidarity of the community and to strengthen the feelings of giving and giving which our religion has ordered and characterized by the UAE community in line with the orientations of our government QNB aims to create a positive impact that enhances the quality of life in the community by encouraging individuals and institutions to serve the community and support the field of volunteering.
He added that the Department has launched seven charity initiatives to be implemented during the month of Ramadan, namely the Ramadan Merry, through which the basic foodstuffs are distributed to thousands of needy families in various emirates, in cooperation with charitable societies accredited by the State, charity meals, Senior citizens and the participation of the volunteers of the Department in the “Ramadan Aman” campaign. He pointed out that all initiatives contribute to deepen the principle of brotherhood and humanity among all citizens and residents. We appreciated the efforts of the Ghayath volunteer team and their good initiative aimed at consolidating the hill Protect and communicate community.
