New Air Services Agreement signed between Australia and India aimed at strengthening bilateral relations

Australian Federal Trade and Investment Minister Stephen Chippo said in a statement issued by his office that the Australian government signed a new air services agreement with its Indian counterpart to strengthen bilateral relations.
“Liberalized air services arrangements are an important step in the bilateral relationship between Australia and India, which allows Australian companies access to a rapidly growing market,” said Chibu.
The trade volume of goods and services between Australia and India amounts to A $ 27.4 billion, making India the fifth largest trading partner of Australia, the statement said.
