Abu Dhabi Transport and Control Company (TRANSCO), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Energy Corporation (ADEC), has been named ‘Best Energy Company’ and ‘Best Innovative Technology for Energy Companies’ at the 2019 Asian Energy Awards in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Asian Energy Awards are one of the most prestigious events in the energy sector, with more than 100 senior executives from various countries attending – what many consider to be an Oscar in the energy sector.
The event, at its fifteenth session, highlighted leading projects and initiatives in the Asian energy sector.
TRANSCO was awarded the two awards in recognition of the unique improvements it has made to the power and water system to minimize production costs through real-time online performance monitoring.
“We will remain committed to supporting a flexible, efficient and clean energy sector, and will always strive to continue to develop and innovate towards this end,” said Bruce Steadle, Executive Director of Transco.
