The Sharjah Pavilion celebrates the 51st Federation Day in Mexico

The pavilion of the Emirate of Sharjah celebrated the Federation Day of the United Arab Emirates during the emirate’s participation as the guest of honor of the 36th edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair.

The Sharjah pavilion raised the flag of the Emirates throughout the exhibition, as the flags of the United Arab Emirates were distributed to the public to decorate the halls of the Expo City of Gudalahara in green, white, red and black colors, confirming the emirate’s cultural project in deepening the communication relations between the UAE and Arab culture and its Mexican and Latin counterparts.

During the celebration, the Sharjah delegation introduced the visitors to the symbols of the state, including the founders of the federation, and the history of the United Arab Emirates in its various stages, up to the era of the federation, which strengthened the cohesion of land and people in the Emirates since December 2, 1971 AD.

The celebration of the 51st Union Day included popular performances from the UAE’s heritage, whose rhythms caught the attention of visitors to the exhibition, whose crowds continued to visit the Sharjah pavilion to watch the performances and listen to the national anthems and songs of Emirati folk bands.

The emirate’s pavilion was also visited by a number of representatives of publishing organizations and institutions concerned with the book industry participating in the exhibition, who congratulated the country on the occasion of the Union Day and praised Sharjah’s success in representing Emirati and Arab culture in the largest book fair in Latin America.
