Dubai Air Navigation Services Renews Joint Cooperation Agreement with CIRCO

Dubai Aeronautical Services (DANZ) has renewed a two-year joint venture agreement with the UK’s Circo Limited.
The agreement was signed by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Aviation Authority, Chairman of Emirates Group, Chairman of Dubai Air Navigation Services, and Phil Malm, CEO of Circo Middle East.
This agreement will contribute to the continuous improvement of the levels of service provided by Dubai Air Navigation Services at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport and ensure superior operational efficiency and continuity of service in accordance with the latest technology and international standards thanks to the expertise of Serco.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed said, “We are continuing our efforts to provide world-class services to our customers and stakeholders. .
For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Ahli, Director General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Air Navigation Services, said that our relationship is very old with Circo and the renewal of the contract stems from the company’s confidence in the field of air navigation services and the achievements we have achieved over the past years. It supports our approach to double our capacity to cope with the expected growth in air traffic across the UAE’s airspace and cargo areas as Expo 2020 approaches. ”
He added that the extension of the agreement coincides with the strategies of the organization to achieve an important equation for the aviation sector in Dubai: building world-class competencies and possessing the finest technologies and systems specialized in air navigation services and this will provide us with the extension of the agreement with Circo.
The CEO of Circo Middle East explained that the business relationship that we have with DANAS is a five-decade partnership and we are delighted to extend the contract to continue our efforts to provide world-class air traffic services through our innovative and effective practices that support the growth of the industry. Aviation in Dubai and the UAE is expected to see good growth over the coming months and years.
