Russia does not expect to improve relations with Britain during the era of Sunak

Russia said on Tuesday that it saw no reason to expect an improvement in relations with Britain under the new prime minister, Rishi Sunak. “At the moment, we see no reason to hope for any positive changes in the foreseeable future,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. “Russia remains open and ready to discuss the most difficult issues at the negotiating table. But not at the expense of our interests.”
