Sultan directs to pay 400 dirhams of electricity bills for “low-income” 4,500 citizen beneficiaries in the first installment

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the payment of 400 dirhams of the value of each water, gas and electricity bill for low-income beneficiaries of the assistance of the Department of Social Services at the level of the cities of the emirate, provided that 4,500 citizens benefit from the decision as a down payment. .

His Highness’ directives also included providing 20 million dirhams to rehabilitate their homes with modern technologies that save electricity and water.

This directive was announced by Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, during an intervention on the “Direct Line” program, presented by the media personality Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority.
