Sunreef chooses the UAE as a headquarters to launch its expansion plans into global markets

Through a cooperation agreement with the “Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City” to develop a yacht manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah, on March 4, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Sunreef Yachts Middle East and Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City to develop a new yacht manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah, in an important step that represents an opportunity for both parties to employ their expertise and resources in Establishing a world-class facility that will serve as a hub for innovation in the region in addition to providing many job opportunities.

The new facility is set to be built on an area of 65,000 square metres, and will be equipped with the latest technologies used in the manufacture of superyachts, while keeping pace with the highest standards of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.

Under the cooperation agreement, which was signed by a number of decision-makers, dignitaries and industry experts, Sunreef Yachts and RAK Maritime City will work together to develop the facility, which will form an integrated yacht manufacturing unit. It will include a modern painting workshop, in addition to workshops dedicated to carpentry, upholstery and stainless steel, all of which will be equipped with the latest machinery and robotic technologies. Note that the first manufacturing and numerical control (CNC) halls are almost finished.
Sunreef Yachts chose Ras Al Khaimah due to its strategic location at the crossroads between West and East, as well as the emirate’s exceptional advantages, support for the maritime sector, easy access to major global markets, and advanced transport infrastructure.
