Dubai Police closes 91 apartments that engage in illegal activities, unlicensed massage centers

The Dubai Police General Command revealed the closure of 91 apartments practicing illegal activities during the current year, in cooperation with partners, which were unlicensed massage centers, warning of the consequences of responding to massage center cards, which are randomly distributed in the streets, or left on vehicles, a sign Until frequenting unlicensed massage centers exposes the person to legal accountability, and also makes him a target for crimes such as theft and extortion, and may reach murders.
Major General Jamal Salem Al-Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations, confirmed that since the monitoring of this phenomenon, Dubai Police launched campaigns throughout the year to target and close these sites and take legal measures against the people involved in these practices, which would affect the security and safety of community members. Pointing out that the administration recently noticed a large spread of massage cards in residential areas, and accordingly intensified efforts by search and investigation officers to curb illegal practices, monitor unlicensed massage centers, and arrest massage card distributors on the streets, on vehicles, and in residential areas in a distorted manner. The civilized appearance of the emirate, and affects public morals, because it contains obscene images, in addition to promoting unlicensed massage centers.
He added that enhancing safety in the emirate is a joint responsibility between the police and members of society, calling on the public to report any violating practices, suspicious behavior, unlicensed massage centers, and card distributors, by calling the call center 901, or through the “Police Eye” service on the application. Major General Jamal Al-Jallaf warned against dealing with unlicensed massage centers, which are registered on massage cards, for violating the law, noting the efforts of Dubai Police partners in combating and reducing the phenomenon of massage cards, whether by cutting off services from properties that contain apartments for unlicensed massage centers, and issuing real estate violations. Used for purposes not intended for it, as well as participating in tracking the path of cards that are distributed in a random manner, or left on vehicles, whether for unlicensed centers or even for those that have a license, and use this illegal method to promote their activities, which results in taking action against them, Such as issuing violations thereof, and suspending licenses for new applications for those centers.
