Al Fujairah and Batna Algeria are looking to establish investment partnerships

Khalid Mohammed Al Jassim, Director General of Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the keenness of the Chamber to strengthen relations with brotherly and friendly countries and to open channels of communication between business owners in the emirate and their counterparts in the world to exchange information and ideas and the possibility of establishing investment partnerships in various commercial, industrial and service fields.
This came during a meeting with Al-Jassim at his office at the Chamber’s headquarters today, Bazaz Mabrouk, Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Algerian province of Patna, during which they discussed ways of developing trade and economic relations between Fujairah and the Algerian Republic and investment opportunities available in Fujairah and Algeria. Al-Jassim confirmed the chamber’s readiness to coordinate with the competent departments in Fujairah to provide facilities for interested businessmen from Algeria to invest in the emirate, pointing out the possibility of establishing a commercial project in the Free Zone for the marketing of Algerian products in the countries of the region.
He pointed out the importance of exchanging visits between employers and setting up joint events because of their role in developing relations.
For his part, Bazaz Mabrouk praised the remarkable development witnessed by the Emirate of Fujairah in various economic and investment aspects, affirming the desire of business owners in Algeria to strengthen their relations with business owners in Fujairah and activate trade and economic relations.
He said that his country is characterized by diverse climate and investment opportunities in the various fields of agriculture, tourism and food products in addition to being one of the largest gas producing countries in the world.
He invited the Fujairah Chamber to visit Algeria to meet with business owners and learn about investment opportunities on the ground.
HE Khalid Al-Jassim expressed his thanks and appreciation for the invitation, pointing out that it was met and coordinated between Al-Jabin to arrange the visit later.
In April 2018, the Fujairah Chamber received a high level delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Businessmen of the Algerian Republic headed by Bazaz Mabrouk, Director of the Batna Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation included 21 people from various industrial, commercial and tourist sectors.
