Kongsberg Maritime opened its new headquarters in Dubai as part of the Dubai Maritime City in a qualitative step that underscores the confidence of the global maritime community in the competitiveness and attractiveness of the Dubai Maritime Community to enhance its position as one of the world’s leading maritime centers.
The opening ceremony was attended by HE Pines Aikos, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the UAE, and Amer Ali, Executive Director of Dubai Maritime City Authority, who affirmed that the success of the maritime industrial strategy of the Emirate of Dubai comes through attracting the various international maritime companies in the marine industrial field to Dubai. With its technical excellence and outstanding services in the international maritime industry, which contributes to improving the quality, efficiency and attractiveness of the maritime sector in the emirate.
He added that the opening of the new office represents an important addition to the sub-offices of the world’s leading companies that are looking to take advantage of the competitive advantages of the local maritime sector, which has promising opportunities that meet the aspirations of both regional and international investors.
Dubai Maritime City looks forward to continuing to provide support and support to international companies, led by Kongsberg Maritime, by leveraging the knowledge and expertise to enable it to achieve its objectives of building a strong regional presence and reaching customers directly within the rapidly growing and highly competitive Middle East market.
