Lagarde: Good governance promotes free trade

“The greater the level of corruption, the lower the rate of economic growth and the countries of the world need good governance to curb corruption,” IMF Director Christine Lagarde said on Tuesday at the World Summit of Governments.
She pointed out that talking about the economy is talking about the future of the world, adding that the promotion of free trade around the world requires countries to resolve their crises and differences in addition to the application of transparency and the adoption of good policy and governance
