The national energy awareness campaign launched by the Saudi Center for Energy Efficiency (# SAB) confirmed that the fuel saving ratio between two similar vehicles in size and use of “medium sedan” uses the same fuel quality (91%), which can reach 56%.

The campaign calls for reading the “Fuel Economy Card for Light Vehicles” in order to buy a new vehicle. The card shows the value of the fuel economy for each type of vehicle, along with the level corresponding to this value (the highest “excellent” in green and the lowest “very bad” ), Where the highest level (excellent) is the highest level of fuel economy in the Kingdom, and the lowest level (very bad) the lowest level of fuel economy in the Kingdom.

The vehicle fuel economy (fuel economy) is divided into two categories according to the use of the vehicle: the first is the passenger car card (sedans, minibuses, minibuses for ten passengers and less), the second: the light truck (SUV, pick-up, for more than ten passengers).
