Abu Dhabi Airports expects to receive 900,000 passengers in two weeks through 5,000 flights to 109 destinations.

Abu Dhabi Airports expected a significant increase in travel through the airport before and during the Eid Al-Adha holiday. As it is expected that more than 900,000 people will travel from Abu Dhabi International Airport, during the period from June 23 to July 7, on more than 5,000 flights destined for 109 destinations in 59 countries, and the days of June 24 and 25 will witness June and July 2 are the busiest, with total traffic expected to exceed 65,000 passengers.

This comes as Etihad Airways announced that it is preparing to receive about 4 million passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport between June 20 and September 30, 2023. In addition to the large numbers of passengers from Abu Dhabi, the airport will receive transit passengers arriving through Etihad Airways’ network of 66 destinations, including The new summer destinations launched this weekend are Lisbon, Malaga and Mykonos.
