The recruitment exhibition for national service recruits kicks off Monday in Abu Dhabi with the participation of 40 institutions from various sectors

The activities of the sixth session of the “National Service Recruits Recruitment Exhibition 2023” will start on Monday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, and will last for three days, organized by the Ministry of Defense, represented by the National and Reserve Service Authority. The exhibition provides job opportunities for recruits who have completed the requirements of the service training program, by providing suitable jobs for them, and facilitating recruitment procedures from the 40 participating entities from various sectors. The authority revealed the organization of 21 various workshops during the exhibition, centering on the most important skills and tools needed to develop the professional and practical path for members of the national service, and enhance their readiness for the future.

The workshops at the exhibition shed light on a range of important topics, such as the Emirates Standard Test, vital competencies and what is required for success, the role of national cybersecurity strategies in raising awareness of cybersecurity, leadership and innovation skills, the general framework of behavioral competencies, the framework of specialized competencies in the federal government, and the mechanism of and registration procedures in higher education institutions for the academic year 2023-2024, and other topics that enhance graduates’ chances of obtaining a successful career.

The exhibition is one of the initiatives based on the National and Reserve Service Authority. It is concerned with providing job opportunities for recruits, supporting the Emiratisation file, and qualifying national cadres to ensure their inclusion in the labor market, within facilitated procedures upon completion of the national service program, and urging participants to give priority to recruits in selection and appointment.

The exhibition witnesses visits by dignitaries and officials from the military and civil sectors, to see the progress of work, and to ensure the availability of all facilities and capabilities for recruits and to help them find jobs.
