Saudi Ministry of Finance Calls for Registration of Contracts and Approvals through (Adoption)

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance indicated that the digital accreditation platform launched last month is part of the ministry’s efforts to support national trends towards digital transformation within the vision of the Kingdom 2030 and to enhance transparency and efficiency. By facilitating the procedures and requirements of the government financial, including the payment of private sector receivables; reducing the time and saving effort to eliminate paperwork, and achieve a higher degree of transparency, which embodies the values ​​of the Ministry of transparency, commitment, partnership and achievement.

The Ministry of Finance called on all government agencies to send their contracts – which require authorization from the Ministry of Finance – through the digital (accreditation) platform, in addition to registering all contracts and assignments that do not require authorization from the Ministry of Finance through this platform regardless of value or duration Contract or baptism, indicating that each contract or baptism is linked to the approved budget items and verified the availability of the balances, a reference number is issued by the Ministry of Finance (Purchase Order), requiring the contractor or supplier to obtain the electronic purchase order number issued by A platform (accreditation) by the government agency, as can the contractor Get this number by entering a platform (accreditation), where contractors and suppliers can subsequently submit their financial claims electronically through the platform.

“The digital platform will enable contractors and suppliers after receiving the purchase order from the government authority to verify its authenticity by entering the reference number on the document verification page on the platform,” said Undersecretary of Finance for Technology and Development Ahmed Al-Suwaiyan.
