The UAE’s minister of energy and industry is ready to meet the needs of markets if they are in short supply

“The OPEC member countries, particularly the UAE and Saudi Arabia, are ready to meet the needs of the markets if they are under supply due to any political factors,” said Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris al Mazrouei, minister of energy and industry.
This came during a meeting of the 11th ministerial committee to follow up production cuts for the OPEC member countries and the participating countries in Abu Dhabi today.
Al Mazrouei said that the committee has seen the report of the technical committee formed by OPEC and the participating countries from outside the levels of compliance and the achievement of rates of reduction during the month of October, as well as market conditions and expectations of demand levels during the first quarter of 2019
