A delegation of businesswomen in the Republic of Poland was briefed on the available investment opportunities and services provided by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.
This came during the visit of the Polish investment delegation to the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park to discuss ways of enhancing economic cooperation and building relations of cooperation and partnership between the park and the Polish business community.
His Excellency Hussain Al Mahmoodi, CEO of Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, expressed his delight at visiting the investment delegation of businesswomen from the Republic of Poland, affirming their commitment to support them in establishing their business in Sharjah Innovation Park and providing all possible facilities.
Al Mahmoodi pointed to the strategy of the complex which translates the UAE’s leading role in the economic empowerment of women by focusing on supporting all business and investment activities related to women, especially those related to research and development activities and innovative technological projects.
He pointed out that there are 12 thousand Emirati businesswomen whose investments are estimated at 45 billion dirhams and contribute to the work and management of 22 thousand economic and commercial projects, noting that the business environment in the emirate of Sharjah is distinctive and stimulating for businesswomen and their investments because they enjoy global potential and great competitive advantages.
Al Mahmoodi emphasized the Group’s approach towards further developing investment incentives, applying international best practices and the latest innovative technologies and providing an integrated infrastructure that will attract more European research and innovative investments and encourage them to expand in the region through the portal of Sharjah Innovation Park as a starting point.
The delegation listened to a briefing about the complex and the most important features, services and facilities it offers to investors and its future plans through a presentation on the most important investments embraced by the complex as a result of world-class services in an ideal investment environment that helps companies and innovative investments to grow and prosper.
The members of the delegation toured a number of research projects in the complex during which they were briefed on a number of existing projects.
