The Ministry of Commerce and Investment has seized more than 17,000 pieces of world-class branded sports clothing through a “homeland campaign without offense” as part of joint efforts to curb the marketing of counterfeit and counterfeit goods. The security campaign team in the ministry supported the joint security operation of the field control force in the administrative control department of the Riyadh district police station. He surveyed the warehouses located on Al-Hayer road in Riyadh city, during which various sports clothes were confiscated for well-known trademarks found in a warehouse belonging to a commercial establishment. During the investigations it became clear that this institution is importing clothes from Turkey, carrying fake trade marks and marketing them to the consumers as original. The ministry team in cooperation with the security authorities checked the quantities in full and closed the warehouse. The information was received in time by the Joint Working Group with the General Authority for Customs to follow up the products that are imported through this institution. The owner of the organization was summoned to attend the ministry to complete the legal procedures and then to file the case with the Public Prosecution.
