Media In – Rasha el Sharqawy – July 1,

The Egyptian Ministry of Finance has decided to extend the real estate tax delay until July 15 without signing any delay penalties on the financiers, as well as continuing to work with all the real estate tax authorities throughout the week, including on Saturdays. Dr. Samia Hussein, head of the Real Estate Tax Authority, said that the minister’s decision aims to facilitate the citizens of the owners of real estate units in light of the increasing demand from them to pay the real estate tax, especially from the owners of real estate units in the tourist villages in the northern coast. She said that the Minister of Finance called on the leadership of the Authority to do all the necessary facilities and facilitate procedures for all taxpayers of real estate, where it was allowed to accept payment of real estate tax on real estate units in the northern coast in the General Office of the Real Estate Taxation for residents in Greater Cairo.
