The index of major Saudi stocks closed today, down 28.16 points to close at 8462.59 points, and trades worth more than 2.8 billion riyals. The number of shares traded was more than 106 million shares, which were shared by more than 91 thousand transactions in which the shares of 62 companies rose in value, while the shares of 112 companies closed down. Tokyo, Margin, Medgulf Insurance, and Amana were the top gainers. Refineries, Lajin, Sala, Savola and Sahara were the most heavily traded, with gains and losses ranging between 9.99% and 3.90%.
