The consumer price index fell in Saudi Arabia last October

According to the monthly report of the Saudi General Organization for Statistics, “GaStat”, a decrease in the index of prices during October 2018, the index reached 106.8% 0.3% compared to the previous month of September 2018.
It is reported that the monthly leakage of the reductive index, which works from the main sectors of the water, electricity and gas sector by 0.8%, the furnishing and household equipment by 0.4%, clothing and footwear by 0.3%, transport by 0.3%. Department of Department and Personal Services miscellaneous by 0.2%, Department of Health by 0.1%, Department of Shopping and Hotels by 0.1%.
On the other hand, two of the main sectors of the index witnessed an increase: Food & Beverage (0.2%) and Smoking (0.1%).
The price change in October 2018 compared to the previous year was relatively high at 2.4%. The volume of the general budget of consumer prices in the Kingdom was 106.8 in October 2018, up from 104.3 in October 2017 by 2.4%.
