Dubai, February 10 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than 1.2 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 265 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 757.01 million dirhams, including 40 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 291.81 million dirhams, and 225 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 465.2 million dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 18 million dirhams in the first Me’aisem area, followed by a pledge of 18 million dirhams in the first Me’aisem region, followed by a pledge of 17 million dirhams in the fourth district of Al Habiya.
The first district of Me’aisem topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 13 pledges of allegiance at a value of 170 million dirhams, followed by the fifth district of Al-Hubiya, with 12 pledges of 36 million dirhams, and a third in Al Barsha, south of the fourth, with 3 pledges of 28 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale of 15 million dirhams came in the second Al Sufouh area, as the most important sale, followed by a sale of 11 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area, and finally a sale of 7 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area.
Dubai Marina topped the regions in terms of the number of apartments and villas sales, as it recorded 30 sales at a value of 88 million dirhams, followed by the Al Barsha area south of the fourth, with 25 sales at a value of 17 million dirhams, and a third in Al Yalayis 2, with 17 sales at a value of 30 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 467.15 million dirhams, including 10 land mortgages at a value of 98.64 million dirhams and 69 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 368.5 million dirhams.
As for donations, 10 donations were recorded, with a value of 48.91 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Palm Jumeirah area, with a value of 18 million dirhams, and another in the Dubai Investments Park area, with a value of 11 million dirhams.
