1.39% increase in cargo handling in Saudi ports in August this year

According to the statistical index issued by the General Authority of Saudi Ports (Ports), the total tonnage of handling cargo in the Saudi ports during the month of August 2018 was 22.41 million tons, an increase of 1.39% compared to the same period of the previous year amounting to (21.86) ) Million tons.
The number of containers handled in Saudi ports during the month of August 2018 was 519 thousand containers, the number of vessels reached (1089) vessels, the number of passengers reached 160 thousand passengers, the number of vehicles reached 47 thousand vehicles, 1.49 million head of livestock.
