1.58 billion dirhams, “Borouge” profits in the first half

Borouge plc announced revenues in the first half of 2023 of about 10.3 billion dirhams, while the company achieved adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of 3.6 billion dirhams ($978 million). According to the Board of Directors’ report, net profit during the first half amounted to 1.58 billion dirhams, affected by the decrease in average selling prices. The company announced the Board of Directors’ approval of an interim dividend of 2.4 billion dirhams (650) million dollars, which will be presented to shareholders, for approval during the second half of the year. The Board of Directors affirmed the company’s commitment to paying dividends of 4.8 billion dirhams for the year 2023.
