Dubai, March 31 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department during the current week amounted to more than 10.7 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 2419 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 6.38 billion dirhams, including 158 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 1.27 billion dirhams, and 2261 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 5.11 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 157 million dirhams in the first area of Khairan, followed by a pledge of 67 million dirhams in the Island 2 region, followed by a pledge of 59 million dirhams in the World Islands region.
Al-Habibiya 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 52 pledges of pledge of allegiance at a value of 165 million dirhams, followed by the city of Hind 4, with 21 pledges of 27 million dirhams, and a third in Jebel Ali First, with 14 pledges of 60 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 82 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 57 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, and finally the sale of 55 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Al Barsha, south of the fourth district, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 320 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 285 million dirhams, followed by the first area of Al Khairan, with 245 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 572 million dirhams, and a third in Dubai Marina, with 191 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 646 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 3.8 billion dirhams, including 99 mortgages for land at a value of 851.34 million dirhams and 394 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 2.94 billion dirhams.
As for donations, 123 donations were registered, with a value of 596.6 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Business Bay area, with a value of 300 million dirhams, and another in the first Al Sufouh area, with a value of 116 million dirhams.
