1000 dirhams fine for gathering at accident sites in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority have warned of the danger of gathering at fire and accident sites, which is one of the unacceptable negative behaviors that impede the arrival of ambulances, emergency vehicles, traffic patrols and civil defense as quickly as possible to carry out their duty to provide humanitarian assistance to the injured and save their lives.
And she called for the need to clear the way for ambulances and civil defense to reach the accident sites to perform their humanitarian tasks in saving the injured, explaining that crowding usually leads to some accidents as a result of some vehicle drivers standing at the accident sites and curious pedestrians crossing the different roads to the accident sites, unaware of the movement of vehicles. Which leads to their exposure to run-over accidents.
And she appealed to the public to participate positively by adhering to the instructions of the traffic elements at the accident sites in order to preserve their safety and the safety of road users, warning against the application of a fine (obstruction of traffic “gathering” during accidents) and the value of 1000 dirhams to reduce crowding and random parking of vehicles on the roads in the places where traffic accidents occur and prevent Traffic jams at the accident sites.

She pointed out that the gathering of curious people at the sites of traffic accidents, and their photographing the vehicles involved in the accidents and the injured, and publishing the pictures on social networking sites, are among the unacceptable behaviors that expose their owners to legal accountability.
