Dubai, April 14 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department during the current week amounted to more than 11.6 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 2,246 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 10.19 billion dirhams, including 226 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 5.76 billion dirhams, and 2020 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 4.43 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 4 billion dirhams in the Maqtara area, followed by a pledge of 631 million dirhams in the Layan 1 area, followed by a pledge of 91 million dirhams in the Al Barsha area, south of the fourth.
The fifth region of Al-Habibiyah topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 74 pledges of allegiance at a value of 198 million dirhams, followed by the city of Hind 4, with 34 pledges of 44 million dirhams, and a third in Al-Habibia IV, with 27 pledges of 251 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 76 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 58 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, and finally the sale of 50 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Al Barsha, south of the fourth district, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 296 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 265 million dirhams, followed by the Dubai Marina area, with 185 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 662 million dirhams, and a third in the Business Bay, recording 154 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 252 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 1.31 billion dirhams, of which 73 land mortgages amounted to 367.86 million dirhams and 322 mortgages of villas and apartments amounted to 941.56 million dirhams.
As for donations, 68 donations were recorded, with a value of 143.96 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Dubai Marina area, with a value of 29 million dirhams, and another in the Burj Khalifa area, with a value of 21 million dirhams.
