AED 128 Million for Abu Dhabi Real Estate Auction

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department’s first-ever auction, which was organized by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) yesterday evening, reached AED 128 million, marking the first ever real estate auction in the emirate on the first day amidst strong competition among bidders. Among the properties offered varied between residential and commercial buildings and industrial land for construction and farms, distributed over the areas of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
Dr. Adil Al-Ashabi, Director of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, said that the real estate auction is fully organized by the Judicial Department with the participation of the concerned sectors and departments. All parties, seeking to contribute to the support of a transparent, solid and trustworthy real estate market.
He added that the auction, which witnessed the sale of 16 properties, presented a diverse real estate pot in terms of value or nature, which included residential villas, public housing, villas, commercial buildings, farms and residential, commercial and industrial land, pointing to the continuation of the offer of properties that have not been sold for six consecutive working days. At the auction hall in the building of the execution department at the headquarters of the Judicial Department.
