AED 1.5 billion infrastructure investments in Dubai Investment Park

Dubai Investments Park (DIP) has announced that infrastructure investments have reached Dh1.5 billion since its inception and focused on improving infrastructure in line with ongoing community development initiatives for advanced infrastructure, including an internal road network of more than 140 kilometers, completion of new entrance improvements, expansion of roads and road points. Exit with the aim of facilitating traffic to and from the complex.
Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has built two bridges on Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road between phases one and two of Dubai Investment Park and is currently in use. Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and Al Yallis to improve the entrances of the complex from the side of Al Yallis Street.
The opening of the new entrance is part of the Authority’s plan to expand the Yalais Road and Expo Road leading to Dubai Investments Park.
Road infrastructure improvements have contributed to the complex’s industrial area, improved road networks and links to regional and international transport routes, enhanced market access, rapid delivery of raw materials to manufacturing units, research and development laboratories and finally processing and assembly facilities.
Omar Al Mesmar, Director General of Dubai Investment Park, said that the strategic location of the complex makes it one of the most desirable areas for tenants and companies alike. The complex cooperates closely with the concerned authorities to expand and improve the infrastructure while continuing efforts to ensure the integration of public transport. Road and infrastructure investments have been a key factor in driving growth in the region, especially as they are essential investments to achieve social and economic growth.
As part of Dubai Investment Park’s continued efforts to develop infrastructure, AED 125 million has been allocated to improve public facilities, maintain pedestrian lanes, modernize existing infrastructure and create air-conditioned umbrellas for bus passengers.This number will increase from 9 to 20 by the end of this year.
The Dubai Investment Park is located minutes away from important commercial destinations and can be reached from the Emirates and Sheikh Zayed Roads. Work is currently underway on plans for the construction of a 15 km long 2020 line to expand the Dubai Metro Red Line from Nakheel Station to Expo 2020 Dubai. The new metro line will pass through Dubai Investments Park (DIP) and all subway tunnels are reported to be completed according to plans.
