19% increase in the volume of handling cliffs at King Fahad Industrial Port in Saudi Arabia

According to the statistical index issued by the General Authority of Saudi Ports (Ports), the volume of tonnage exported handled during the months of July, August and September 2018 was 15.71 million tons compared to 14.68 million tons for the same period last year An increase of 7%, while the volume of incoming tons (2.54) million tons compared to (2.27) million tons for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 12%.
The King Fahd Industrial Port in Jubail achieved an increase in the volume of handled and exported containers by 19% and an increase in the number of vessels by 4% during the third quarter of 2018. The number of vessels received by the port during the third quarter of 2018 , (530) vessels compared to (509) vessels for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 4%.
The King Fahd Industrial Port in Jubail is considered one of the most important Saudi ports. It exports the products of the Industrial Complex in Jubail Industrial City and imports the factories needed for industrial and raw materials.
