 The number of non-oil economic activities in the UAE has reached 21, according to the latest classification issued by the Ministry of Economy in a step that reflects the scale of the development witnessed in the national economy in recent years, after it became one of the most successful models in diversifying sources of income according to the certificates of international specialized institutions. The rankings, which were issued by the Ministry of Economy, are part of the government’s integrated system of work in the UAE, which aims at enhancing the UAE’s position by developing the national economy to take its place on the global economic map and achieve the vision of the wise leadership of building a diversified global competitive economy Based on knowledge and innovation and led by national competencies. The Economic Activities Guide is in line with the UAE Vision 2021, which was launched in 2010 and aims to be the best country in the world by the Golden Jubilee of the Union. It is clear through the guide that the manufacturing sector is one of the most important economic activities on which the state relies.
