The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in a pavilion of 22 companies and institutions working in the energy sector in the exhibition accompanying the 24th World Energy Conference “Abu Dhabi 2019”, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, At the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
The Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia today signed a contract with the Organizing Committee of the 24th World Energy Conference Abu Dhabi 2019 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
The contract was signed by HE Dr. Matar Al Nayadi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 24th World Energy Conference, Abu Dhabi 2019, and HE Dr. Yasser Al Turki, Advisor to the Ministry of Electricity Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of a number of UAE and Saudi officials.
Dr. Matar Al Nayadi said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the partnership contract signed today with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents a great addition to the World Energy Congress and the participating companies. He pointed out that the energy sector in the Kingdom is one of the important sectors in the world, One of the 22 Saudi companies and institutions in the conference and the accompanying exhibition gives a great opportunity for participants to learn about Saudi experiences in this vital sector.
He added that the energy sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a developing sector in various fields in terms of oil and gas, renewable energy and energy efficiency, pointing to the many programs and initiatives highlighted by the vision of the Kingdom 2030 in light of the interest of concerned institutions and institutions in the Kingdom to implement this vision.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 24th World Energy Conference, Abu Dhabi 2019, said that Saudi Arabia will review its expertise in the energy sector in addition to Saudi Arabia’s advanced technologies and research on hydrogen and carbon sequestration and reuse and the development of some high-efficiency cars and less consumption of gasoline and smart cities and sustainable.

Dr Yasir Al Turki said that the UAE’s hosting of the 24th World Energy Conference in Abu Dhabi 2019 would make the Saudi participation unique, pointing to the importance of the energy sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the sectors that lead and contribute significantly to achieve the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
