3 Gulf stock markets fell, on Sunday, in the first session of the week, while the index of the Saudi and Muscat stock exchanges bucked, affected by the decline in global markets, last week.
The Saudi index rose 0.74% to 11,490 points, amid trading of 4.8 billion riyals.
The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed lower, as the premier market index declined by 2.69%, the general market index by 2.58%, and the main market index decreased by 2.14%. The value of trades amounted to 53.15 million dinars, and the Kuwaiti market was closed Thursday, in the parliamentary election holiday.
The stock index in Qatar fell by 1.16% to 12548 points, amid trading of 248.45 million riyals.
