38 teams from the UAE and the world participate in the final round of the Dubai Kartdrome 24 Hours World Endurance Race

Twelve teams from the UAE, as well as 26 teams from around the world, are getting ready to take part in the Karting 24 Hours Endurance Race, the final round of the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship – sponsored by ARMotors, which will be held on December 10-11.
The 24-hour endurance race is one of the most important events on the motorsports calendar in the region, and a prominent stage in the prestigious endurance racing championship.

The race witnesses the participation of more than 150 drivers representing 38 teams, giving local and international drivers the opportunity to test their capabilities and capabilities in a highly competitive atmosphere, and opening doors to enter the world of professionalism in motorsports.
A group of local karting teams are participating in the race, whose drivers gained and honed their experience on the Dubai Kartdrome circuit during their participation in the SODI World Series of Karting.
The event, which celebrates its 17th edition this year in Dubai Kartdrome, is part of Dubai Autodrome’s efforts to develop motorsports in general and karting in particular, and to provide a clear path for racing enthusiasts to enter this world.
Faisal Al-Sahlawi, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome, said: “The Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship continues its pioneering and successful career since its inception in 2005, and we are delighted to host this event, the 24-hour endurance race at Dubai Kartdrome again this year.”

He continued: “The participation of 26 teams from around the world confirms the prominent position enjoyed by the championship globally, and its impact on motorsports locally and regionally, which is represented by the participation of 12 teams from the UAE in the competitions of this global event.”
He added: “We affirm our continuous commitment to providing as many opportunities as possible to support the development of motorsports in the UAE and the region, and in this context, karting races and championships, such as the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship and the 24-hour race, are a very important platform in developing the capabilities of motorsport champions in Emirates in various sports categories.
And he said: “Last year, we were pleased to see Fernando Alonso during his participation in the race competitions that were held after the closing round of the Formula 1 season, as he expressed his admiration at that time for the championship and the level of competition, and for this we are confident that the next event will witness high levels of competition, and provide drivers with an important opportunity.” To develop their skills and gain experience in endurance racing.
In addition to the competition to win the final round of the Karting Endurance Championship, the participating teams compete in sub-categories that include the GCC category, as well as categories for companies and countries.
David Bright, Director of Dubai Kartdrome, said: “We are preparing to welcome 38 teams to participate in the Dubai Kartdrome 24 Hours Endurance Race this weekend. We expect the category of countries to witness high-level competition.”
