48% increase in members of the “Global Hotel Alliance” program in Dubai

The Dubai-based “Global Hotel Alliance” found a strong recovery in its resort sector in Asian countries, and the United Arab Emirates was among the top three destinations in the world for the establishment of members of the “Discovery GHA” loyalty program, while the emirate of Dubai was the most visited from Program members accepted a 48% growth in residencies during 2021.
The list of the top three countries in terms of member residencies, during this period, included the Maldives and Thailand, in addition to the UAE, while the most visited cities again were Dubai (an additional 48% growth in residencies during 2021) followed by Singapore and Bangkok.
