7 conditions for the equivalence of high school certificates for educational curricula in the UAE depend on the students’ academic curriculum

The digital government of the UAE stated that there are 7 specific conditions for the equivalence of high school certificates, for the various educational curricula in the UAE, stressing that the Ministry of Education is the authority authorized to equivalence school and general secondary educational certificates, and this service applies to the certificates obtained by the student from inside or outside the country.
She explained that to request the equation, the student must be a resident of the UAE, and prove his identity by submitting a copy of the card issued by the UAE, and a copy of his passport. He has to submit the original certificates, specifically the grade certificates (10, 11 and 12), and they will be returned to him, after checking them. For some students, it is also required to submit original certified certificates of “TOEFL” or “IELTS” and “EMSAT”.
She added that the certificates submitted for equivalency must be duly certified by the Ministry of Education, or the authorized educational authority in the issuing country, and a legal translation of foreign certificates not issued in Arabic or English must be provided and duly certified. Pointing out that there are other special conditions that depend on the curriculum that the student studied (ministerial, American, British, or others).
The “digital government” stated that individuals can visit the main offices of the Ministry of Education in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, or submit the application electronically after registering on the ministry’s website, and filling out the electronic application from the customer.
She invited the dealers and those wishing to apply for the equation to view the conditions and documents required by the special links on the Ministry’s website.
She added that there are special requirements for the equivalence of certificates, through the website of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai (KHDA), and the requirements for a certificate of completion of high school graduates through the website of the Department of Education and Knowledge – Abu Dhabi.
