Dubai, May 19 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department during the current week amounted to more than 9.1 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 2475 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 7.17 billion dirhams, including 191 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 1.14 billion dirhams, and 2284 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 6.03 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 135 million dirhams in the Island 2 area, followed by a pledge of 50 million dirhams in the Business Bay area, followed by a pledge of 50 million dirhams in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area.
Al-Habibiyah 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 54 pledges of pledge of allegiance at a value of 185 million dirhams, followed by the city of Hind 4, with 34 pledges of 50 million dirhams, and a third in Jebel Ali First, with 14 pledges of 46 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 122 million dirhams in the Island 2 area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 105 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, and finally the sale of 74 million dirhams in the World Islands region.
Dubai Marina topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 308 pledges of allegiance, at a value of one billion dirhams, followed by the Al Barsha area south of the fourth, with 305 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 278 million dirhams, and a third in Al Thanyah Al Khamis, recording 164 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 287 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 1.68 billion dirhams, including 91 mortgages for land at a value of 846.6 million dirhams and 462 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 829.19 million dirhams.
As for donations, 77 donations were recorded, with a value of 264.39 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Dubai Marina area, with a value of 44 million dirhams, and another in the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Gardens area, with a value of 43 million dirhams.
