The number of passengers coming and leaving during 2018 in Jeddah Islamic Port increased by 9.21% compared to 2017 by 295,416 thousand passengers
This increase comes in the light of the expansion work that was carried out earlier, which included the passenger station, and the establishment of a screening room accommodating about 900 pilgrims and pilgrims, which resulted in the absorption of large numbers of arrivals and departures, in addition to the establishment of a waiting lounge to leave equipped with the latest detection devices and luggage inspection expands For about 600 pilgrims and Umrah, which contributed to the great flow in the movement of leaving the pilgrims with ease and ease.
The increase comes in light of the efforts exerted by the Port and the relevant government agencies, especially during the Hajj period, in accordance with the General Authority of Ports Authority’s keenness to provide all necessary facilities and upgrade the advanced services, capabilities and mechanisms provided to pilgrims, pilgrims and visitors.
