Abu Dhabi Aviation, the largest aircraft and fixed wing aircraft operator in the Gulf, Middle East and North Africa, will participate in the Abu Dhabi 2018 Air Show at Al Bateen Airport from 26th to 28th of this month with a new AW139 helicopter.
Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation, Nader Ahmed Al Hammadi, said the Abu Dhabi Aviation Show is of great importance in supporting the development of the aviation sector in the UAE and the region, which will revive the economic activity of this sector and create an environment rich in business opportunities and in line with the aviation sector development plan.
“The participation of Abu Dhabi Aviation at the Abu Dhabi 2018 Air Show, which is held with the participation of more than 1,800 aviation and aerospace industry visitors and a large number of manufacturers, is an ideal opportunity to showcase our diverse services, Aviation to share experiences, and is an important opportunity to interact with future business development partners.
Hammadi said Abu Dhabi is the first vertical airline to be established in the UAE and has a fleet of aircraft with 63 aircraft, 59 helicopters and 4 fixed-wing aircraft.
The Chairman added that Abu Dhabi is competing in the field of maintenance by establishing an aircraft maintenance center, distribution of spare parts and technical training in cooperation with the manufacturer of aircraft (Leonardo). He added that this center adds high technical capabilities and capabilities to customers in the UAE and in the Middle East. In particular, 40% of Abu Dhabi’s services are offered outside the UAE.
