“Abu Dhabi Executive” reduces tourism fees from 6% to 3.5% and municipal fees from 4% to 2%

The Executive Committee of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has decided to reduce tourism fees from 6% to 3.5% and municipality fees from 4% to 2% and the municipality’s fee for each room for each night from AED 15 to AED 10. Continue to invest in tourism infrastructure and attract investors to build and develop tourist and leisure facilities, cultural landmarks and local events that add to Abu Dhabi’s status as a leading tourism destination.
This is part of the Abu Dhabi Program for Development Diversions (19/20), which was ordered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The Executive Committee adopted the proposal of the Department of Culture and Tourism based on meetings and discussions conducted by the Department with Which aims to provide recreational and cultural landmarks and facilities with the best value to Abu Dhabi residents and tourists.
The culture and tourism sector is one of the key sectors of the Abu Dhabi Plan, which includes further strengthening Abu Dhabi’s status as a thriving cultural center that attracts residents and tourists by preserving and promoting the UAE’s national cultural heritage, attracting the best museum experiences and performance and visual arts programs to the region, The Louvre Museum and Warner Brothers Abu Dhabi, which will open in July, as well as the entertainment facilities planned for Hadereyat Island.
