Abu Dhabi Global Market and Smart Systems and Services Authority sign memorandum of understanding

 The Smart Systems and Services Authority and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADX) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to open new horizons of cooperation in the launch of innovative initiatives and joint ventures that contribute to the development of the free financial zone on Al-Mariya Island and support the rapid growth of Abu Dhabi’s economy. The MoU was signed by Dr. Rawda Al Saadi, General Manager of Smart Systems and Services Authority and Zahir Bin Dhaher Al Muhairi, Chief Executive Officer of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Authority. The Memorandum outlines the broad framework for the joint cooperation between Smart Systems and Services and the Abu Dhabi Global Market to accelerate the development and improvement of IT infrastructure on the island of Almariya by relying on innovative and intelligent systems that are a solid foundation for the growth of the business community on the Abu Dhabi global market and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Generally on the other hand. The Smart Systems and Services Authority (ADSM) will work with Abu Dhabi Global Market to help government agencies and private sector companies establish technical clusters in Abu Dhabi that will focus on sharing experiences in information security and business. Dr. Rawda Al Saadi, Director General of Smart Systems and Services in Abu Dhabi, said: “This partnership is a step that reflects the continuous commitment to build fruitful bridges of cooperation with all local and federal agencies in order to improve government services by employing and optimizing the latest technological technologies. The Abu Dhabi Government is committed to enhancing the economic environment and facilitating the lives of the people and providing them with all the means of happiness, success and prosperity. Zahir Bin Dhaher Al Muhairi expressed his confidence in the role of the new memorandum of understanding in the development of the market in the hope that the market’s cooperation with the Smart Systems and Services Authority will result in a strong push to develop innovations and smart systems and accelerate their deployment on the island of Al-Mariya and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
