Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Closed Higher on Wednesday’s trading Session

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session in green zone on the back of the rising blue-chip stocks. The ADX’s general index inched up 4.58 points, or 0.09%, finishing the session at 5,026.74 points.

Trading volume amounted to 33.521 million shares exchanged through 1,154 transactions at a turnover of AED 97.052 million. The bourse’s market capitalisation added AED 800 million, closing the session at AED 516.870 million.

The real estate, the telecommunication, and the banks sectors rose by 1.85%, 0.24%, and 0.12%, respectively, while the energy sector was the sole decliner with 0.19%.

Aldar Properties’ stock was the most active stock in terms of liquidity and trading volume as it saw trading of 9,965 million shares at a turnover of AED 19.917 million.
